Our Story

WE ARE GETTING MARRIED (:

We met at a mutual friends' nonchalant get together in October 2012. After a couple of run-ins with each other we decided upon a lunch date December 1, 2012. We had a nice long courtship and officially started dating exclusively  May 11, 2013. We lived pretty close to one another in NW Portland and spent most of our time together with Sean's two roommates, Brian and Dan. Things escalated when we adopted our beloved fur-baby, Havoc, in late December. Sean couldn't stand to live away from Havoc and I, so we moved in together February 2014.

We love to spend our evenings making fun dinners, listening to records, having fires, painting, watching movies or Netflix and just chilling. On our off-time, we love to have adventures!  We've hiked all over Mt. Hood, the Oregon coast, Central  Washington, the Northern Oregon's high-desert and along the California northern Coast.  Some of our favorite memories have been made visiting and hiking Banff, Jasper, Glacier, Crater Lake and Redwoods National Parks.  Our adventurous side comes out when we travel, too. We have traveled around San Diego, Virginia, Desolation Sound, Thailand, Los Angeles, and Phoenix.

Our engagement happened at Grinnell Lake in Glacier National Park. We were sitting on a bench in-between two trees eating cheese and crackers and drinking a local beer. Sean started one of our typical road-trip games, "Would You Rather".  After a few silly rounds:

Sean: "Would you rather marry me, or not marry me?"

Me: "Marry you, of course." (not thinking too much of it)

Sean got down on one knee and asked for me to marry him! How cute, RIGHT?!

XOXO
